About the Forum
The International Arbitration Forum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing international arbitration as a fair, efficient, and accessible means of resolving cross-border disputes. We bring together practitioners, scholars, businesses, and students to strengthen arbitration practice, expand access to knowledge, and promote the peaceful resolution of international disputes.
Our mission
Our mission centers on six priorities:
- Education and Training: Equip legal professionals, businesses, and students with the knowledge and practical skills to navigate international arbitration.
- Best Practices: Promote fairness, transparency, efficiency, and ethical standards throughout the arbitration process.
- Dialogue and Collaboration: Connect practitioners, scholars, and institutions worldwide to exchange ideas, share experience, and address emerging challenges.
- Research and Scholarship: Support research and publications that deepen understanding and advance arbitration law and practice.
- Access to Arbitration: Help reduce barriers to participation, particularly for smaller businesses and underrepresented communities.
- Global Community: Build an engaged international network committed to cooperation, professional excellence, and peaceful dispute resolution.
Through our programs, publications, and events, we keep members informed about developments in international arbitration and create opportunities to contribute to its future.
The Awards Database
Since 2008 the Forum has published the International Arbitration Database, an open research collection of arbitral awards, decisions and court judgments with their source documents. It is free to search and to read. If you hold a decision that is not yet in the record, please send it to info@arbitration.org.
